The Beatles had song rejected by film director - John Lennon wasn't happy



THE BEATLES suffered a brutal blow in 1964 when one of their hit songs was rejected from their first-ever big-screen movie. John Lennon went on to write another massive Fab Four hit instead, while his wife, Cynthia Lennon, called it a "cry for help".
