FREDDIE MERCURY'S mum Jer Bulsara described how her "caring" son still "tried to protect us" the last time she ever saw him to say goodbye. Even as he was dying, the Queen star was more concerned for others than for himself. Jer also revealed the song she always struggled to listen to after Freddie's death.
