THE BEATLES experienced a lot of fame and popularity over the years, but despite this John Lennon stayed supportive of his first wife Cynthia Lennon until their marriage broke down. At the time, Cynthia explained how she "embarrassed" Lennon and the rest of the band when she joined them on tour.
