When the lockdown stopped Neville Staple from performing, he did the next best thing - he wrote a song about it. Lockdown, the single, is edgy and claustrophobic, with an addictive pinch of paranoia. "My wife Christine and I came up with the idea and the band recorded it remotely," the former star of The Specials and the Fun Boy Three tells me.
