Selling over 30 million albums worldwide, packing out venues such as Madison Square Garden and the 55,000 seat Tokyo Dome a record 18 times, two band members committing suicide and a singer brainwashed into leaving the band by a Japanese underground cult, X Japan are probably one of the biggest bands in the world that most people have never heard of.
